So sew busy days…

Ever since I started sewing pencils/pens rolls out for fun, I’ve so far received a few orders from very supportive mommies! Some giving it as farewell gifts, some for frens, some for Christmas gifts! For more details, do visit my Sewfun ya and give your support too ya!

With my sew bz schedule, I must still squeeze out precious time for my darling Ivan of course!

We used to have a 7ft tall xmas tree but some how mia during our shifting. So we make do with a 3ft xmas tree with some simple decors for the feel of it!

I remember vividly that I used to have one of this piano during my childhood. Looking for one a few years hopefully able to show Ivan what mommy used to play when I was his age…

Found two pieces of them at Arab street today and they now belonged to me liao.

Graduation Concert & Yishun Dam

After months of practice, their effort finally paid off! He was nervous and having some stage fright but he overcome it anyway…

Accident at Yishun Dam at 10.50pm

After the concert, i-papa suggested that we go Jalan Kayu for pratas. On on way home via Yishun Dam, this is wat we saw!

This direction is from Yishun to Seletar Camp direction and traffic was heavily affected. Ours came from the other side, so traffic not effected.

Outing: MycoFarm (Mushroom Farm)

Ivan is a great fan of fungus. Got to know this mushroom tour via a flyer. This tour was a very brief one. However, we learned that mushrooms are grown in this (unique) way…

Entering into the “Shiitake” Mushrooms air-conditioner house. Inside it is quite humid and it has a humid kind of smell and some might not like it.

Ohhh…. the mushrooms soo big! Fresh and edible!

“Shiitake” Mushrooms
Each log is specially treated and able to harvest up to 4 times. Each harvest takes about 5-6weeks.

Unless you are having an outing at the nearby Animal Resort, Koi Farm or Plants Farm, its worth to make a turn into MycoFarm. Otherwise you know hah…

Full Dress Rehearsal

Make up? By I-mama…

I am one of the parent’s volunteer for their class but due to my schedule on sat am, I’m not able to help out in the full dress rehearsal. But that’s my handsome fireman for the performance.

Getting Ready- Checked

My preschooler going P1 real soon. I’ve also prepared Ivan for this big transition from a baby environment to a big boy environment. So far, I only bought the school textbooks and order the shoes on the orientation day on 3rd Oct.  Due of the long Q, I didn’t get the School Uniform coz i noe I can purchase directly from the Uniform Specialist located at Sembawang Shopping Centre.

Items that are more or less must have

1) School textbooks- Checked (3rd Oct) $170

2) School shoes x 1- Checked (Collecting on 29th Oct) $25

3) Ergo School bag- still looking ard… any good recommendation?

4) School Uniforms / PE Attires 2sets of each / Socks x 5 (28th Oct) $70

5) Forms for the school on the 1st day also filled up liao.

6) Think still hav some misc items to get.

Mmmm…  getting Ivan to get ready is also part of the getting ready procedure…
